Graduation Information
Cap and Gown orders are taken in the fall, and distribution in May. A Jostens representative will visit in the fall to discuss the ordering process.
A Graduation date has not yet been set for 2025.
All graduating seniors MUST attend the practice in order to participate in the graduation ceremony. If a graduate cannot attend, he/she cannot participate.
All fines and fees must be paid before practice. Any materials must be returned.
Please do not iron your cap and gown. Hang it up, and steam it if there are wrinkles.
There is a dress code for graduates. All seniors are expected to wear clothing that reflects the seriousness of the occasion.
Males should wear dress pants, dress shirt with tie, and shoes with socks.
Females should wear dresses, skirts, or pants and shoes that are easy to walk in.
There will be no flip-flops, tennis shoes, T-shirts, jeans or shorts.
Failure to adhere to dress code will result in removal from the ceremony.
Graduates need to take the ceremony seriously. They should refrain from acts/actions which could endanger himself/herself or others.
Graduates should behave in such a manner so that participation is a contribution and not a detriment to the dignified occasion.
DO NOT decorate or alter your cap.
Graduates will need to report to the MCHS office to get diplomas directly after the ceremony.
The doors will open approximately one hour before the start of the ceremony. Seating is on a first come, first served basis. There are no reserved seats, but there are handicapped accessible areas along the bottom row of the bleachers and seats.
All attendees should keep the aisles and walkways clear so the graduates can get in and out.
